Family Kitchen Program

Strengthening Families Through Cooking and Nutrition
At Bergen Family Center, nutrition and family bonding have always been vital components of our services. During the COVID-19 crisis, it became even more essential. Our team adapted by hosting virtual family cooking sessions via Zoom and setting up a "no-contact" pickup area where families could collect fresh ingredients to cook together at home.
Our family cooking program has become a cornerstone of family engagement within our services. What started as a hands-on culinary experience has evolved into a vibrant community program, bringing families together through the joy of cooking and sharing meals.
Now, we're thrilled to offer in-person cooking sessions for families on weekends—continuing our commitment to culinary education, nutrition awareness, and family bonding. Parents and children learn to cook together, developing healthy eating habits, essential life skills, and stronger family connections in a supportive, welcoming environment.
🍽️ Join us in the kitchen and strengthen your family bonds—because cooking together creates memories that last a lifetime.
