Being There When It Matters Most
One of our greatest strengths at Bergen Family Center is our ability to respond quickly to unexpected events that impact the lives of families. We're resourceful and nimble, often serving as the first place people turn when they are in need. This rapid response capability allows us to provide immediate support when our community needs it most.

Food Insecurity
In response to growing food insecurity in Bergen County, we:
- Distribute over 200 food packages monthly
- Partner with local food banks and grocery stores
- Provide emergency food assistance to families in crisis
- Offer nutrition education and cooking classes
- Connect families with SNAP and WIC benefits

COVID-19 Response
During the pandemic, we adapted our services to:
- Provide virtual counseling and support services
- Distribute PPE to vulnerable community members

Hurricane Relief Efforts
