We realized a long time ago that older members of our community are an invaluable resource in building a better tomorrow. Our senior adult services make sure our clients continue to feel included in society, whether they are able to join us for group programs or require a more personal touch with visits to their homes.
Adult Day Program
- Available to adults 60+ in Bergen County
- Stimulates social interaction
- Promotes mental activity through various activities
- Prevents premature institutionalization
- Provides respite for caregivers
- Nutritious hot meals available for registered seniors
- Wraparound services for senior citizens, including state & county benefits
Care Management Services
- PAAD, SENIOR GOLD, HEAP assistance
- Home care programs (JACC and MLTSS)
- Veteran benefits and Alzheimer grants
- Community and caregiver resources
- Medicaid MLTSS and Respite Program
- Meals On Wheels and SNAP
Caregiver Support
- Monthly virtual and in-person meetings (15-20 caregivers)
- Spanish language meetings available
- Safe and nurturing environment providing respite support
- Coping strategies and information sharing
- Shared meals and conversation
- Mentoring program with trained volunteers
