Adolescent Services
Where Teens Come First
Bergen Family Center's Teen Services provide a safe, supportive space where young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and prepare for their futures. Through mentorship, academic support, career exploration, and social-emotional learning, we empower teens to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Our programs offer life skills training, college and career readiness, mental health support, and opportunities for community engagement.
Our Programs
The ZONE at Dwight Morrow High School

Director: Rachel Solomon, LCSW
Located at Dwight Morrow High School, The ZONE is a prime example of BFC's successful partnership with the Englewood Public School system. We provide comprehensive clinical and primary prevention services to high school students, with all services available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM being completely free and voluntary. Students benefit from individual and group counseling, college and career preparation, workforce readiness training, and leadership development opportunities. We also offer health education, recreation activities, primary prevention programs, and academic tutoring to support the whole student.
Our dedicated team includes a full-time LCSW, full-time MSW, part-time LAC, Youth Development Specialist, and part-time College Counselor, serving 800 students ages 13-19.
In the summer we partner with the Chamber of Commerce to host a paid internship program complete with job placements and workshops.
