Friends of the Family Makes a Difference
Volunteers from PNC Bank share their "Grow Up Great" program with Bergen Family Center
Share your time. Share your talent. Share your resources. Here's how to be a part of Friends of the Family.

Your Time - Your Choice
We know your time is valuable. That's why we have flexible opportunities for you to help Bergen Family Center. There are ways you can help for just a few hours in an afternoon or morning. And there are other ways that you can help us year-round.

Share Your Talent
Do you have a special skill or talent that you would like to share with us? We welcome you to share your creativity and expertise in program activities such as art, dance, health and educational seminars.

Calling All Companies
Does your company participate in community service projects? Organize a library or spearhead a clothing drive. It's the perfect way to focus a corporate team activity and help the community as well. Contact us now to become a corporate community partner.

Keep Us Beautiful
Do you know how to paint, how to decorate, how to clean or how to repair things? We’re always looking for hard working people who can help keep the Bergen Family Center looking its best. Even an hour of your time can make a difference.

Be a Tutor
Lots of students need a little extra help to get them over the rough spots in their academic career. Just an hour of your time, assisting with home work, can make a huge difference in a student's life. Opportunities from early childhood, through pre-teens and teens.

Mentor Seniors
Be a mentor for our senior citizens enrolled in our Adult Day Care, Senior Care Management and Family Success Center programs.

Your Professional Expertise
Are you a legal, marketing, Internet, technology, real estate, education, accounting, or business professional? We're looking for action oriented individuals to join one of our committees:
  • Program Committee
  • Finance Committee
  • Human Resources Committee
  • Operations Committee
  • Volunteer Development Committee
  • Resource Development Committee
